Kitting Operator I_ITX presso Azek Co.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders, bills of materials, and job specifications to determine required components.
• Pick, count, and kit materials accurately based on production needs.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality of items to ensure complete and correct kits.
• Label and package kits according to company standards and staging requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Communicate with inventory, production, and shipping departments to resolve any material issues.
• Restock “mini marts” between buildings in production.
• Keep kitting areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Follow all company safety and quality policies.
• Other job responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or kitting environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and part labels.
• Basic computer skills or familiarity with inventory systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Occasional kneeling, crouching, or climbing.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required to handle small parts.
• Ability to visually inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse or production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel or composite toe shoes are required.
