CAD Developer - ENGINEERING
As a member of the Engineering team (one of the divisions in SEDIN), you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Java applications. You will be working with other engineers and developers on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
🌍 Where you’ll do it: This role is hybrid (based out of Chennai & Bangalore, India)
🏁 An initial screening of the resume leads to a 4-stage interview process lasting atleast a week: ➡️ 15-minute HR chat ➡️ 60-minute Technical Round (sometimes paired with a short take-home exercise )➡️60-minute call with the Operations Head to discuss the position & fit ➡️ 1 -hour final interview with the CEO/CFO to assess a culture fit

Develop scripts using Python/C#/VB or similar language to automate CAD workflows for design efficiency.
Create custom tools and macros for CAD software (e.g., NX, CATIA, CREO).
3D parametric modeling (Part Design,Surfacing,ASSEMBLY) Integrate CAD systems with PLM and other engineering tools.
Identify and resolve deficiencies in existing automated systems and tools.
Test and validate automation scripts for accuracy and reliability.
Solve complex technical problems related to CAD systems and automation tools.
Establish standards and best practices for CAD automation within the organization.
Continuously monitor and improve automation processes to reduce downtime and errors.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on automation scripts, tools, and workflows.
Strong problem-solving and programming skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
