Our recruitment and assessment process is merit based. For this recruitment we will be conducting a minimum of three interview and assessment stages that form a comparative process. Office locations Support office roles are headquartered across Haymarket, Parramatta, and Gosford. We will consider role headquarters outside of these locations where the role can reasonably be performed from that location, taking into consideration the operational, financial, and customer requirements of the role, and an ability to attend a NSW Government workplace as required.

We’re a cloud-first, cloud-native organisation using modern engineering practices like Lean Product Management, Extreme Programming (XP), and User-Centred Design to deliver fast, stable, and meaningful digital services.
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead engineering teams with empathy and clarity, guiding them through technical and organisational complexity. You’ll bring deep engineering experience and enterprise architecture knowledge, and your focus will be on people, systems, and strategy. This is a leadership role for someone who understands the challenges engineers face and can help them thrive.
This role is not a natural next step for a high-performing senior engineer who wants to keep building. It’s for someone ready to lead at scale, with a macro focus and a passion for people and systems.

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $162,296 base plus superannuation
