Take Ownership of the Warranty Lifecycle as Our Next Warranty Administrator

Do you thrive on finding strategic improvements, ensuring compliance, and being the critical link between a company and its customers? We’re looking for a highly autonomous and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to own the end-to-end warranty claims process.

This isn't just a desk job—it's an opportunity to drive process optimization, maximize financial recovery, and ensure every customer interaction reinforces our commitment to excellence. If you have a passion for data analysis and an innate ability to navigate complex issues with tact, this role is your chance to make a significant, measurable impact.

What You’ll Own and Drive

You will be the central point of contact, operating with a high degree of autonomy to lead the warranty claims life cycle. Your success in this role directly impacts financial recovery, process efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.

Strategic Ownership & Process Improvement:

  • Lead the Full Cycle: Drive the entire warranty claims process, from initial submission and tracking to final resolution.
  • Maximize Recovery: Strategically analyze data to identify opportunities, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of claims to maximize financial recovery.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data analysis to monitor key performance metrics (claim volume, approval rates, recovery amounts) and identify emerging trends for process and product improvements.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent, high-quality administration across all sites.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure all warranty submissions comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct periodic audits to ensure record accuracy and completeness.

Key Collaboration & Customer Liaison:

  • Customer & Distributor Expert: Serve as the primary, professional, and empathetic liaison for all warranty-related matters with customers and distributors.
  • Communication Hub: Maintain constant and efficient communication with TURCK customers (verbally and in writing) regarding coverage, claim status, and resolution timelines. Address concerns related to denied claims with professionalism and empathy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales, Accounting, and other site representatives to gather documentation, reconcile payments, and resolve complex discrepancies.
  • System Mastery: Utilize the SAP Warranty System to maintain detailed records, create domestic and international shipping documents, and manage customer/warrantor references.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and train team members on best practices, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in all warranty processes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warranty administration, preferably in a manufacturing or customer service-related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warranty management systems. Strong knowledge of SAP (specifically with warranty claim modules) is required.
  • Key Traits: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time management skills, and the proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Soft Skills: Considerable tact and social skills to interact effectively with various internal and external groups, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements with limited supervision.
