Job Purpose:
oneZero is seeking a high-energy, experienced, results oriented, Institutional Sales Representative to join our Sales team to grow our franchise with new Institutional Clients in North and South America.
They will be working closely with executives in our prospect’s electronic trading & or distribution teams as well as liaising with oneZero sales engineers and product managers to understand client needs, ensuring we are invited to participate in RFPs, propose effective solutions, and structure long term contracts that win deals.
The candidate will have experience in selling electronic trading enterprise solutions to the Foreign Exchange or related markets in liquid asset classes as well as established relationships with institutional brokers, regional banks, hedge funds, proprietary trading funds, currency overlay and quantitative asset managers. Candidates must have strong working knowledge of electronic price aggregation, price distribution and risk management workflows, good interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and a proven self-starter.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales plan to identify new client opportunities via a combination of organic, inbound and in-person (conference, etc.) based mechanisms, through market research as well as through partners in your designated territory.
- Ensure leads and opportunities are properly qualified and entered into CRM to make your pipeline transparent to the organization, estimate the size of the opportunity, forecast the close date and probability of win.
- Work with Sales Engineering and Product teams to develop and maintain a working knowledge of features of oneZero’s products such as Institutional Hubs and adjacent products in order to be capable of presenting them to clients during the qualification and nurturing stage.
- Establish a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each prospect, understand their pain points and unmet needs, communicate those internally within oneZero, and demonstrate the value oneZero’s products and services can bring.
- Work with clients to establish critical goals or other key performance indicators that measure success in the eyes of the customer, structure the solution possible using our standardized product set , and identify which items on our product roadmap are required to address any gaps required to close the sale.
- Complete RFPs and develop pricing proposals using our commercial model.
- Explain our commercial model to clients, negotiate contract terms and conditions and address client concerns.
- Collect and organize deployment prerequisites from clients and deliver them to the Relationship Management and Operations teams for implementation.
- Work with colleagues globally to achieve a cohesive and consistent client experience and achieve firmwide goals of closing new client deals and maintaining good client relationships regardless of their geographic location.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5 or more years of proven experience in enterprise sales to financial institutions.
- Experience responding to RFPs for financial markets electronic trading solutions in FX or other related markets.
- Highly professional, self-motivated and organized with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus
The salary range for this role is $180,000- 200,000, depending on relevant experience.
