This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialised team in building electrical wiring harnesses to our exacting standards, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build vehicle harnesses to the required quality standards working under the supervision of senior technicians
  • Follow all procedures and processes to meet the day-to-day requirements of the business, as well as quality and health and safety standards.
  • Assist senior technicians and the workshop manager in the daily operations of the harness workshop.
  • Identify and report any build-related issues, deviations, and continuous improvement opportunities to the senior technicians
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping regarding work area, documentation, tools, and products.
  • Fulfil any duties required by the company to ensure quality products and services are delivered to customers on time and in full.
  • Achieve continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
  • Able to work in a team environment

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 6 GCSEs at Grade C / 4 and above (including Maths, English, and ideally a Science or Technology subject).
  • A relevant college qualification (e.g., BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Motorsport, or Mechanical Engineering) would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous hands-on experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or technical environment (through work experience, apprenticeship, or hobby projects) is desirable.
  • A genuine interest in automotive, motorsport, or electrical systems, with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and diagrams is beneficial but full training will be provided.
