Description
Groove Subaru is hiring for an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is ideal for a strong leader who can drive team performance, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Manage scheduling, workflow, and repair orders to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor service quality and resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
- Track department performance, including profitability, CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), and service goals.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, parts, warranty) to provide seamless customer support.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and department reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Service Advisor with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and manufacturer guidelines.
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on quality service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
