Groove Subaru is hiring for an experienced, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is ideal for a strong leader who can drive team performance, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Manage scheduling, workflow, and repair orders to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor service quality and resolve escalated customer concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Track department performance, including profitability, CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), and service goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, parts, warranty) to provide seamless customer support.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and department reporting.

Requirements


  • Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Service Advisor with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on quality service.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
