About the Department
Position Duties
1.Ensures security and accuracy of student academic records as required by state and federal agencies;
2.Responsible for maintenance of the degree audit system, providing oversight for the monitoring of students’ progress toward degree completion and graduation;
3.Ensures an efficient and effective transcript request and delivery system;
4.Provides oversight to the registration and scheduling of course offerings, ensuring the accuracy of data and proficient processes;
5.Develop and maintains the curriculum management system, working with the vice president of instruction and the instructional affairs committee;
6.Ensures accurate and timely processing of data related to course offerings, registration, end-of-term function, degree and enrollment verifications, record certifications, and degree clearances;
7.Conducts process and policy review, development, and implementation in accordance with college functions related to the student’s academic record;
8.Prepares and submits to the Vice President of Instruction the President's and Dean's list each semester;
9.Provides oversight of the academic calendar and catalog;
10.Prepares probation and suspension list each semester;
11.Assists in compiling and filing eligibility reports for all athletic teams;
12.Assists in recording grades each semester;
13.Participates in the institution's short and long-range planning;
14.Certifies student documents as required
15.Serves on the Commencement committee and orders diplomas, certificates, caps, and gowns for graduation.
Minimum Qualifications
Skills:
Excellent computer skills, Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) experience required, Ellucian Colleague experience preferred
Work Experience includes required number of years documented experience in a comparable/related position:
Five to ten years of relevant work experience is required.
Other Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in the management and supervision of staff
Advanced verbal and written communication skills Well-developed interpersonal, teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.

5.Fulfills other duties as assigned by the President and/or supervisor.
