We are seeking a professional like you to join our Customer Care team and take responsibility of the Order-to-invoice (OTI) process. You will understand and follow defined Customer Care processes and procedures and serve as the BASF primary point of contact for customers.

- Interacting with the customer in a helpful and friendly manner and understanding customer needs as you develop and maintain customer relationships for high-profile accounts for our North American customer base, including Canada and Mexico. This includes providing consistent quality service and acting as a liaison for customers and external service providers.
- Communicating with various functions across the business: Marketing, Sales, and Logistics, at all levels of the organization will be an essential part of your area of responsibility.
- Managing Order-to-Invoice (OTI) activities including order fulfillment, delivery, shipment, invoicing, returns, credits, debits, consignment, and expediting orders while proactively resolving issues that could impact customer requirements or BASF’s ability to meet them.
- Executing and following Non-Conformance Management (NCM) measures, including investigation and reporting.
- Engaging across the organization, you will work as a member/leader of special or ongoing projects that are important to continuous improvement of the businesses.
- Understanding and enforcing stated business rules and raise awareness to situations where a resolution requires cross functional coordination. Additionally, you will support training, troubleshooting, and offer solutions to customers including the eCommerce order stream.
- Participating in orientation and training, serving as a secondary trainer, and mentoring peers to ensure a smooth transition and continuous development.
- Utilizing your robust analytical and computer skills (specifically SAP, OM Cockpit, MDG, CMIR, TMS, Salesforce, Alvara Tax Tool, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other web-based applications), you will verify material availability and address pricing discrepancies.
- Establishing and enhancing procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards.

- Education (Supply Chain, Business Management or Logistics preferred) combined with your experience in the Customer Care, Supply Chain area, or closely related work experience.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and contribute to automation projects to improve team productivity and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate client records and proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any lapses in engagement.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP or similar platforms.
- High level of competence in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ensure all customer interactions and transactions are accurately documented in relevant databases and systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to engage Customers and collaborate across: Marketing, Sales, Planning and Logistics.
