- The Use of Physical Security Measures such as Building Alarms, Fire Alarms, Access Control and CCTV
- Provide a 24 hour, 365 days a year service & staffed control room.
- monitoring of and response to Fire alarms, building alarms, Intruder Alarms, Lift Alarms IT Server Room Alarms
- Provision of a Crime Prevention Team for Target Hardening and Supporting Major and or High Profile Events
- A one stop out of hours call point for dealing with all emergencies
- Provision of Uniformed and Plain Clothes Security Officers
- Supporting pastoral care for students and staff
- Engaging with the wider community
- Promoting Crime awareness and preventing crime
- Experience in the use of & responding to critical systems including CCTV, fire response, building/intruder alarms
- Knowledge of basic law enforcement, arrest and constraint, crowd and traffic control regulations
- Experience in emergency situations including first aid and fire fighting
- Knowledge of crime prevention and health and safety
- SIA Door Supervisor License
- Full UK Driving License ( Manual or Auto )
