Description
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. The Accounting Analyst will play a key role in supporting core accounting functions, the monthly close process, and financial analysis while providing valuable insights to management. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is ready to develop their technical and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.
Month-End Close & Reporting
- Prepare and post journal entries and support schedules.
- Compile and maintain month-end reporting files for management.
- Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain supporting schedules and documentation to ensure compliance with audit and internal control standards.
Tax, Banking & Cash Management
- Support sales tax filings and compliance activities.
- Run daily cash reports for the Accounts Receivable department.
- Assist with payment processing through banking systems.
Financial Analysis & Audit
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation.
- Monitor variances and identify trends or discrepancies in financial data.
Fixed Assets Management
- Maintain fixed asset records and balances.
- Track construction-in-progress (CIP) activity.
- Support capital planning and reporting.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 1–3 years of progressive accounting experience (internships, public, or corporate accounting all considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard accounting processes.
- Strong excel skills; ERP system experience a plus.
- Ability to analyze data, spot inconsistencies, and communicate findings clearly.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive and curious, with a strong sense of ownership.
