Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a creative and results driven individual to join our team and help grow our customer base of clinics across Canada. This will be an in person role. You will work out of our Calgary office.


As a Marketing Specialist you will help drive brand visibility and generate product demand. You will execute marketing initiatives that align with company goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing
    • Own Mikata’s website content and performance, ensuring pages are up to date, optimized for SEO, and aligned with campaign goals.
    • Manage and optimize digital channels including paid search, paid social, SEO, and retargeting ads.
    • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and ad platforms to measure ROI and recommend improvements.
  • Content & Communications
    • Write, edit, and publish engaging content including blogs, customer success stories, email newsletters, and social media posts.
    • Support the development of branded assets in collaboration with internal teams
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications.
  • Partnership & Referral Marketing
    • Working with the SVP Sales and Marketing create collaborative marketing opportunities with partner vendors to encourage mutual referrals
    • Working with the SVP Sales and Marketing develop and manage a structured referral program for existing Mikata customers.
  • Campaigns & Events
    • Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns from planning to launch (e.g. product announcements, seasonal campaigns, webinar promotions).
    • Assist the SVP Sales and Marketing with marketing efforts related to conferences, tradeshows, and partner events Mikata participates in.
  • Analytics & Trends Monitoring
    • Track and analyze key marketing KPIs, customer behavior trends, and campaign performance.
    • Prepare regular performance dashboards and insights reports for leadership.
    • Stay on top of healthcare marketing trends and propose new strategies to test and implement.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success demonstrating increased brand awareness, higher conversion rates, better customer lifetimes value and successful lead generation.
  • Post secondary education of any kind.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and a proactive approach to learning and problem solving.
  • You have the ambition to always understand the why behind things and are also a critical thinker.
  • You love to learn and read between the lines. You’re tech-savvy and always eager to find solutions.
  • You have a proven ability to handle setbacks and overcome challenges, demonstrating perseverance and a positive attitude in the face of adversity. You take feedback constructively and use it as an opportunity to improve and grow.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Bonus: A strong understanding of and experience in the healthcare industry an asset.
