Position Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth for Mikata. You will use your selling expertise to close deals and meet monthly targets. This role is primarily focused on outbound sales.

You will work out of our Calgary office.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Growth and Execution:
    • Achieve and surpass assigned sales targets through use of a "full-stack B2B SaaS sales process" (from initial outreach to close, you are responsible for the sales funnel) including:
      • lead generation
      • cold outreach (cold calling, emailing, etc)
      • lead qualification
      • hosting meetings and product demos (mostly virtual, some in-person)
      • closing deals
      • post-close activities and account expansion
  2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
    • Utilize HubSpot CRM to effectively track leads, monitor sales activities, and maintain customer records.
    • Ensure timely updates of all sales data and provide visibility into the sales pipeline.
  3. Client Management and Engagement:
    • Foster strong relationships to drive new customer growth and build retention and satisfaction with those new customers.
    • Represent Mikata Health at events, conferences, and industry gatherings to build relationships and promote the brand.
  4. Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and product development, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
    • Provide detailed activity reports, market feedback, and sales forecasts to the SVP Sales and Marketing.


Competencies and Skills

  • Sales Expertise: Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets, preferably in medical or SaaS sales.
  • CRM Mastery: Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs through in-person engagement and support.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work needed hours to attend events and adjust strategies based on market trends and organizational goals.
