Purpose
The Health and Safety Lead plays a key role in promoting a safe, healthy, and fulfilling work environment for all employees. Beyond regulatory compliance, this role focuses on developing a genuine culture of prevention, wellbeing, and shared responsibility across the company.
Key Missions
- Develop and implement initiatives that foster a positive culture of health, safety, and wellbeing at work.
- Raise awareness and train employees and managers on best practices in prevention, ergonomics, and workplace safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose concrete actions to improve employees’ day-to-day working conditions.
- Support managers in implementing practical, tailored solutions for their teams and work environments.
- Investigate incidents or risky situations, identify root causes, and share lessons learned in a constructive way.
- Organize and lead communication campaigns and events focused on health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Encourage dialogue and listening, acting as a trusted point of contact for all matters related to workplace health and safety.
- Monitor health and safety indicators and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile & Other Information
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Sciences, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in a health and safety role, preferably within corporate operations
- Knowledge of French and European health and safety regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, training, and communication skills.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and mobilize others around health and safety initiatives.
- Strong listening skills, constructive approach, and solutions-oriented mindset.
