Description
PHE, Inc., the parent company of Adam & Eve- the nation’s largest adult retail is currently seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee day-to-day facility operations. In this role, you'll lead a small team, manage daily repair assignments, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating facilities staff.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- General building maintenance
- Help desk requests
- Coordinating, inspecting, and overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and equipment.
- Responsible for employee office relocation.
- Property management, i.e., landscaping, roofing, pump house maintenance.
- Warehouse maintenance:
- Responsible for forklift maintenance, resolving issues, inspections, and replacement parts.
- Responsible for tilt tray maintenance, resolving issues, inspections, and replacement parts.
- Conveyor maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
- Responsible for Pac Jacket maintenance, resolving issues, inspections, and replacement parts.
- Freight elevator maintenance
- General building maintenance
- Project Oversight: Managing construction, renovation, and other facility improvement projects.
- Budget & Resources: Managing budgets for facility-related expenses, controlling costs, and ensuring efficient allocation of supplies and equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Work with HR and the Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other applicable laws. Responsible for preventive and annual inspections, i.e. scheduling, reporting, correcting deficiencies, maintaining proper documentation.
- Vendor Management: Establishing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
- Communication: Serving as a liaison between various departments and other stakeholders to address facility needs.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience working in facility management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing preferred
- Must be able to hold flexible hours, including occasional on-call after hours and/or weekends
Competencies:
- Team Management: Skilled in fostering a positive work environment and driving accountability in the facilities department.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing, mechanical equipment, conveyors, and other critical building infrastructure.
- Operational & Organizational Efficiency: Highly organized with a strong aptitude for prioritizing tasks, managing resources, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes.
- Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information across all levels of the organization and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Crisis Management & Problem-Solving: Demonstrated capability to remain composed under pressure, respond quickly to emergencies, and implement practical solutions to complex facility-related challenges.
