On a typical day you’ll be…
- Managing your own client portfolio and processing end-to-end payrolls
- Importing payroll data into payroll software and maintaining accurate payroll records
- Acting as the primary contact for your clients, managing queries and delivering fantastic customer support
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance service delivery and team efficiency
- Maintaining up-to-date client payroll manuals and ensuring all manual checks and calculations are accurate
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, including Fair Work, PAYG, Superannuation, and STP
- Communicating any risks to service delivery promptly and realistically to clients and internal stakeholders
- Proactively contributing to solutions and mitigations when issues arise
- Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal control standards
Does this sound like you?
- Experience in Australian payroll processing, ideally in a client-facing or multi-client environment
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in payroll systems (Employment Hero) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure
- A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive and high-performing team culture
