Position Summary: 

The Data reporting specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical reports that support our Sales team, back-office operations, and customer-facing initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with exceptional analytical abilities to drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive reports for Sales teams, back-office staff, and external customers
  • Creating automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms
  • Utilizing SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for complex data queries, analysis, and database management
  • Developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards and visualizations (or similar BI tools)
  • Working with Salesforce data to create actionable insights and reports
  • Collaborating with IT and Business Intelligence teams to optimize data workflows and system integrations
  • Troubleshooting data discrepancies and resolve reporting issues independently
  • Working within Agile frameworks to prioritize reporting requests and deliverables
  • Continuously seek innovative solutions to enhance revenue operations efficiency

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) - Advanced querying, stored procedures, and database management
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar reporting tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.) - Dashboard creation and data visualization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of database concepts and relational data structures
  • Self-starter mentality - Ability to work independently and seek out solutions proactively
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills - Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for various audiences
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with Agile prioritization methodologies - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external stakeholders to develop quality solutions in an efficient and timely manner
  • Microsoft Access experience - Database design, queries, and form development
  • Salesforce knowledge - Understanding of CRM data structures, custom fields, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or business intelligence roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field
