The Global Shared Services team in MBS, India plays a crucial role in this mission, working together with our counterparts across the globe by providing various support services in Finance and Business.

This role will be a part of Global Shared Services Team, India which provides range of Business services Support to multiple corporate functions such as Supply chain, Procurement, Centre of Excellence (CoE), etc.

The incumbent of this role will align with Shared Services Senior Leadership's long- and short-term strategies and work towards their realization. Incumbent will lead a multi-functional team within a shared services environment, overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of a range of key support functions including but not limited to Supply Chain, Procurement, Centre of Excellence (CoE), etc. This role ensures service excellence, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals while fostering service excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Include:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for business services across all functional areas.
  • Align service delivery with enterprise-wide objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive transformation initiatives to enhance scalability, agility, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leverage opportunities to expand our footprint across additional functions by demonstrating strong multi-functional domain expertise.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards for all service lines, with a strong focus on performance analysis, business partnering, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and change management efforts.

People & Culture

  • Build and mentor a high-performing cross functional teams, collaborative team culture.
  • Foster talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the business services function.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Actively collaborate to understand the short- and long-term objectives of stakeholders of business service and build value driven insights to support their objectives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business services and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparent communication, service satisfaction, and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field with minimum of 12+ years of overall work experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in shared services or corporate services.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex service portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, procurement best practices, and digital tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post graduate/ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with global stakeholders of different regions in various capacities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
