GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Inside Sales Specialist (Preowned) is essential in driving profitable sales growth of preowned cars.  This role works directly with external customers and cross-functionally with Club Car internal teams including Outside Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Service, and others to deliver outstanding service to consumers and channel partners.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Lead management – ensure a high conversion rate of Certified Preowned (CPO) leads with prompt follow up
  • Become an expert in the as-is and CPO preowned offerings and assist customers with product selection
  • Provide concierge service to CPO customers from quotation to delivery
  • Work with Marketing and third parties to promote and CPO partner offers
  • Administer the Club Car Employee, Friends & Family CPO purchase program
  • Work with Outside Sales to follow up with channel partners to monitor inventory levels and solicit stocking orders for CPO cars
  • Provide feedback to Dealer Development on markets with strong CPO consumer interest and inadequate channel partner coverage
  • Collect and share voice-of-customer customer feedback on products and sales programs with peers
  • Support special sales projects and sales efforts as needed
  • Manage customer expectations by clearly communicating on status of orders and resolution of issues
  • Continuous development and refinement of inside sales processes and procedures to improve productivity, including implementation of automation projects
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of sales and customer service experience required
  • Must have experience actively selling and not simply order-taking 
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force is preferred
  • Must possess a high energy level and enthusiastically represent Club Car with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to prepare and evaluate sales quotations for customers
  • Must be highly motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales quotas, grow, and succeed
  • Must produce excellent and accurate work with urgency
  • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset and the willingness to champion process improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Must be proactive and have a willingness to work independently as well as part of a team
