Position Summary
The Marketing Physician & Community Liaison serves as the bridge between Aquacare/Fitness Forum Physical Therapy and the local medical and community network. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong referral relationships with physicians, case managers, attorneys, and other community partners, while also increasing awareness of our specialty programs and services. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, and proactive in identifying growth opportunities that align with the company’s mission of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.  Experience with social media/networking preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Physician & Referral Relationship Development
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with physicians, surgeons, nurse practitioners, case managers, and referral coordinators.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, presentations, and luncheons with referral sources.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Aquacare/Fitness Forum’s specialty programs (pelvic floor, aquatic therapy, vestibular rehab, work conditioning, etc.).
  • Track referral patterns and provide timely follow-up to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interact with the clinical team for outreach projects and development of referral targets. 
Community Outreach & Marketing
  • Develop and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, schools, employers, and wellness providers.
  • Represent the company at health fairs, community events, and business networking functions.
  • Organize and support workshops, seminars, and educational events for the public and referral partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across outreach efforts.
Strategic Growth & Reporting
  • Identify new market opportunities and share insights with leadership to support strategic planning.
  • Collect feedback from physicians and community partners to improve patient access, satisfaction, and outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of contacts, visits, and activities in the CRM/EMR system.
  • Provide monthly reports summarizing activities, outcomes, and recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, pharmaceutical sales, or community outreach.   
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel between clinics and referral sources.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with strong customer-service orientation.
  • Knowledge of physical therapy services required.
