About this Role
What you’ll do
- Design and develop SAP FIORI applications using SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Deploy applications on SAP BTP using Business Application Studio (BAS) and Cloud Foundry.
- Configure and extend SAP FIORI launchpad and enable standard FIORI applications.
- Integrate custom FIORI applications with OData services from ERP systems.
- Ensure application security using XSUAA and implement authentication mechanisms including SSO.
- Debug applications using logs and traces; utilise cloud connectors effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Compile technical specification documents in accordance with organisational standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT team.
Who you are
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5/FIORI development.
- Proven track record of developing at least three custom FIORI applications.
- Proficient in JavaScript, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, and SAP Cloud Platform services.
- Experienced in using BAS and Web IDE for application development.
- Familiar with app routers, cloud connectors, and debugging tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP FIORI launchpad configurations and CAPM.
- Knowledge of ABAP OData service development and mobile client building for Android/iOS is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to understand and translate client requirements.
