Location: Vermont or New York. Must be within commutable distance to South Burlington VT, or Saratoga Springs NY
Duration: 6 months
Hours: Part Time

Remote/Onsite: Hybrid


Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Data Entry Temp to assist with various data entry tasks in our IT department. This temporary position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a basic understanding of IT systems and software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and updating data in various IT-related systems and databases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input data into IT systems and databases.
  • Maintain and update records in various software tools.
  • Perform data verification to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with organizing and categorizing electronic files and documents.
  • Perform basic data cleaning tasks, identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
  • Support the IT department with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Follow data privacy and security protocols to ensure the protection of sensitive information.
  • Provide general support for IT-related projects and initiatives.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative support, preferably in an IT or technical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Immediate Excel skills required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems and software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
