About Praxis
Praxis began in 2011 with a desire to support and equip Christian entrepreneurs and has grown steadily into a 25+ person, NY-centric team advancing the redemptive quests of founders, funders, and innovators motivated by their faith to address the major issues of our time. As a $12M+/year nonprofit with ambitious growth plans, we're expanding our venture-building work globally, organizing around the major issues of our time, and building media and more to activate the redemptive potential of Christians around the world. We see our team as the first carriers of the mission, building an organization that is great to work at, excellent in its craft, and redemptive in its finances as well as its programs.
We’re seeking a leader to join Praxis at a pivotal moment in our journey. As we celebrate 14 years of cultivating a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs, founders, and funders, we are poised to amplify our reach and deepen our influence through storytelling and resources that inspire, equip, and empower a broader audience. At the heart of this role is an invitation to awaken creative and prophetic callings, igniting redemptive imagination, purpose, and meaning in the lives and vocations of those we serve. By joining our team, you will help shape culture’s big questions into opportunities for truth, beauty, and renewal—equipping individuals to join God’s creative and restorative work for the common good.
The Role
As the Director, Go-to-Market*, you will be the chief architect and executor of the go-to-market strategy for Praxis Media. As the primary owner of GTM, this leader designs, builds, and launches initiatives spanning the entire content and communications funnel. This role calls for mastery in performance and growth marketing, proven experience designing full-funnel strategies, and the operational rigor to deliver measurable engagement growth across channels.
Sitting as the third point alongside the Design Director and Managing Editor, the GTM Director seamlessly integrates creative vision, editorial excellence, and executional precision for all audience-facing work. They will shape not only what Praxis says and creates, but precisely how those ideas go to market, ignite engagement, and contribute to growth.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Go-to-Market Strategy & Leadership
- Develop, own, and implement the GTM roadmap for Praxis Media, from 0-1 build to sustained multi-channel growth.
- Engineer content-led product and campaign launches with a clear, data-informed plan for awareness, acquisition, activation, and advocacy.
- Partner with Brand, Media, and Product leads to ensure every resource, launch, and campaign is positioned for maximum reach and resonance.
Performance & Growth Marketing
- Lead the charge on performance marketing and growth strategies: set, track, and optimize metrics across web, email, social, and emerging channels.
- Surface key insights, run experiments, and introduce proven methodologies to engineer engagement, grow audiences, and maximize participation.
- Drive the CRM/data strategy that enables Praxis to serve its dense core network and attract/acquire new audiences.
Content Architecture & Channel Execution
- Serve as both content architect and hands-on maker: develop editorial and content calendars with a GTM lens, ensuring channel-fit messaging and formats.
- Partner deeply within the creative/editorial/execution triad to deliver integrated, creative campaigns that move seamlessly from insight to finished work.
- Produce, edit, and deliver best-in-class content personally while activating internal, agency, and freelance support to scale.
Operational Excellence & Iteration
- Build and refine systems, processes, and tools for GTM delivery, analytics, and ongoing optimization.
- Lead a Praxis Media learning agenda—establishing priorities for channel experimentation, performance testing, and responsive iteration.
- Report findings and propose strategic adjustments based on audience insights, funnel metrics, and GTM performance.
Redemptive Storytelling & Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all GTM, content, and communications embody the highest standards of redemptive storytelling and audience honor.
- Steward the Praxis voice and values across all ventures—never sacrificing mission for scale, but showing that truth, beauty, and goodness are growth drivers.

- Skillfully integrate and streamline processes through Praxis’ suite of tools (Airtable, Slack, Asana, Notion, Figma, Canva, InDesign, Google Suite).
