JOB TITLE: Donor Database & Analytics Manager
DEPARTMENT: Development/Administration
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director of Major Gifts & Donor Relations
POSITION TYPE: Non-Exempt

KEY ROLES (ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES):
Database Management: 60%
- Manage overall donor data to ensure database integrity; detect, correct, and prevent inconsistencies or inaccuracies.
- Oversee gift processing and ensure accuracy of entry.
- Partner with the Finance Department to ensure proper coding, tracking, and reconciliation of all contributions.
- Maintain and monitor a variety of donor, fund, and campaign codes/accounts.
- Conduct and manage data entry needs for special events and campaigns.
- Track Board of Governors and Board of Trustees give/get commitments and ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and standard operating documentation for the development team.
- Collaborate with the Data and Impact team to ensure donor management and membership management systems work seamlessly across the My Club Hub (Salesforce) ecosystem.
- Provide back-up support for data entry and other database projects as needed.
- Lead implementation of moves management and portfolio management processes in Salesforce.
- Ability to embrace new software and processes and lead the team in understanding and adapting these systems.
- Collaborate across the organization to support the experiences of donors, volunteers, and BGCSF youth/families.
- Provide continued support and auditing of custom fields and objects to ensure a clear donor contact page layout in Salesforce.
Research, Reporting, Analytics: 40%
- Manage a reporting calendar (2–3 reports per month) for leadership, Board, and other key stakeholders.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports to track and analyze fundraising performance.
- Develop dashboards and materials for development team updates, Board reports, and campaign presentations.
- Communicating progress to goal with data and integrity to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Support fundraising campaigns (including the CBC campaign) with reporting, donor research, and action updates.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making, financial reconciliation, and performance measurement.
Requirements
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Salesforce experience is a must; preferably at least 1-3 years of experience in database/CRM management or maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Strong analytical and data presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Suite products.
- Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
- Must be a positive role model and an eager, collaborative team player.
- Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Pay
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and BGCSF needs. At BGCSF, our decisions are based on other factors and dependent on circumstances for each position. Depending on the need and requirement of the position, an individual could be hired at or near the entry-level, mid-level or top of the range for their role and compensation. As such, a reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $72,000-82,000 annually.
