This position is part-time and temporary. We anticipate the position being available at least through January 2026 with the possibility of extension. The pay for this position is $16.00-18.00/hr per hour depending on experience. We anticipate that this role will work 15-20 hours per week on-site during regular business hours on a regular, mutually agreeable schedule.

The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Gift Associate to provide critical short-term support to our Gift Services team. This role plays a key part in ensuring donor contributions are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining the integrity of our systems and the trust of our donors.

In this role, you'll focus primarily on data entry tasks related to gifts, pledges, and donor information. In addition to data entry, you'll also interpret supporting documentation, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure donor intent is correctly captured and fulfilled. You’ll work within the IU Foundation donor database supporting high-volume gift processing while also contributing to data integrity and internal communication.

Education & Experience

• Previous experience in data entry required; experience with donor databases such as Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, or similar systems preferred.
• Prior work in higher education, fundraising, or nonprofit environments is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong analytical and interpretive reasoning abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data review and entry.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, especially when clarifying data with internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn IU Foundation systems and templates.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

We anticipate an October start for this role, screens may start as soon as September 22nd.
