Skillforce is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Fabrication Foreman for a direct hire opportunity with our client. Relocation assistance and sign on bonus are available for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all work adheres to all safety protocols and practices.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily team activities to meet production goals.

• Maintain and inspect work quality, ensuring compliance with established standards.

• Support and guide new team members during orientation.

• Promote a culture of safety and enforce compliance with regulations.

• Hold regular meetings with your team to communicate updates and provide direction.

• Address performance issues and administer disciplinary actions as needed.

• Manage material flow, track inventory locations, and monitor project progress.

• Maintain a proactive approach with a focus on zero defects and timely delivery.

• Coordinate and report maintenance needs for tools and equipment.

• Perform other related tasks and special assignments as directed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or planning role within structural steel or a similar field.

• Industry certifications (AWS or CWB) are a plus.

• Proficient in welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.

• Familiarity with AWS, AISC, and CWB standards.

Schedule:

• This is a night shift position: 4:30pm-3:00am
• 4 day work week 

Pay and Benefits:

• $31-$33/hr
• Additional $1.50/hr for night shift differential
• Attendance incentive starting at an additional $1.50/hr
