Job Summary
The Philanthropy Campaign & Engagement Specialist manages the execution of donor campaigns across print, digital, and online platforms. This position is responsible for segmentation, campaign list delivery, tracking codes, and ensuring accurate campaign configuration and quality assurance. The role collaborates closely with Marketing & Communications, Finance, and frontline fundraisers to deliver timely and accurate campaigns that support engagement and fundraising goals. Success in this role means campaigns are launched on schedule, with accurate targeting, reliable reporting fields, and confidence among staff in the donor journey. Additional duties may be assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and regular weekly schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, with up to three days per week in person at the Association Office or Y Location. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Hiring Range: $29.00 - $36.00 hourly
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain segmented donor lists for appeals, stewardship, and personalized outreach.
- Manage campaign tagging, tracking codes, and calendar coordination across multiple channels.
- Configure and QA campaign pages, forms, or digital assets to ensure proper data capture and integration.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to ensure accurate list delivery, segmentation, and launch timing.
- Partner with fundraisers to review campaign segments, validate target audiences, and incorporate feedback.
- Contribute to campaign calendars and cross-channel delivery milestones; track workflows and maintain documentation.
- Support pre-launch QA and post-campaign analysis to strengthen future campaign execution.
- Document campaign processes, segmentation logic, and tagging conventions; maintain user-facing SOPs and guides.
- Participate in cross-functional planning pods for campaign and stewardship efforts.
- Provide training or guidance to fundraising staff on campaign processes and basic CRM campaign functionality.
- Collaborate with Information Systems, Finance, and Donor Services staff on reconciliation, data hygiene, and campaign field alignment.
- Participate in a variety of internal meetings to maintain knowledge of industry requirements, support optimal customer care, and maintain team collaboration.
- Maintain required minimum qualifications for the position such as licenses, certifications, or credentials.
- Perform any tasks to assist in keeping a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
- Integrate all safety policies and procedures into daily practice.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:- Combination of education, training, lived experience, and/or professional background that demonstrates the ability to perform the responsibilities of this role.
- Experience working with donor databases, customer relationship management systems, or similar data tools.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, reporting, or financial record management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain processes and data to diverse audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and foster an inclusive work environment.

- Ability to pass a criminal background and reference check per organizational policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with nonprofit donor systems or fundraising CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or similar).
- Familiarity with online giving and campaign platforms (e.g., Classy, GoFundMe Pro).
- Experience using document generation or communications tools (e.g., Conga, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp).
- Knowledge of prospect research and wealth screening platforms (e.g., iWave, DonorSearch).
- Demonstrated ability to build or refine reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for fundraising or nonprofit operations.
- Experience developing or maintaining SOPs, user guides, or training resources.
- Certifications or training in Salesforce administration, nonprofit data management, or analytics (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in a nonprofit or philanthropy environment.
