Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electronics Production Manager – IoT to oversee and manage end-to-end production operations of IoT hardware and devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing OEM/ODM partnerships, a deep understanding of IoT hardware design and manufacturing processes, and hands-on experience with EC200U modules and LoRa-based communication systems.

This role requires a professional with expertise in production planning, vendor management, quality control, and supply chain coordination for electronics manufacturing. You will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and delivering IoT devices that meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Management & Planning
    • Oversee the complete IoT device production lifecycle from prototype to mass manufacturing.
    • Develop, monitor, and optimize production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
    • Implement efficient manufacturing practices to reduce costs and improve output.
  • Vendor & OEM/ODM Management
    • Manage and coordinate with OEM/ODM partners to ensure alignment with design specifications, quality benchmarks, and delivery schedules.
    • Evaluate and select reliable vendors for sourcing electronic components and modules.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Technical Expertise & IoT Hardware
    • Apply hands-on expertise in EC200U modules, LoRa technology, and IoT hardware integration.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate PCB designs, hardware schematics, and firmware integration.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with R&D and ensure smooth production ramp-up.
  • Quality Control & Compliance
    • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for IoT devices.
    • Conduct audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards (CE, FCC, RoHS, etc.).
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in defect reduction, process stability, and yield optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with R&D, design, and product management teams to ensure manufacturability of IoT products.
    • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
    • Support after-sales and customer service teams in resolving hardware-related issues.
  • Innovation & Scalability
    • Explore new IoT communication technologies, modules, and manufacturing practices to stay ahead of industry trends.
    • Develop scalable processes for large-volume IoT device manufacturing.
    • Provide input on cost optimization and design-for-manufacture (DFM) improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, production management, or IoT hardware development.
  • Strong expertise in managing OEMs/ODMs for electronics or IoT device production.
  • Hands-on experience with EC200U modules and LoRa communication systems.
  • Solid understanding of PCB assembly, SMT processes, and electronic component sourcing.
  • Knowledge of IoT hardware architectures, wireless communication, and device certification requirements.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end production of IoT hardware.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and lean manufacturing practices is desirable.
