Responsibilities:
Data Architecture & Strategy:
- Design and architect scalable data flows between multiple business systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
- Define data architecture standards and best practices across the organization
- Lead technical decision-making for data infrastructure investments and technology stack evolution
Infrastructure & Pipeline Management:
- Build, maintain, and optimize data infrastructure including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes with focus on scalability and reliability
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from various sources into analytics-ready formats
- Engineer solutions that support both operational reporting and advanced analytics use cases
Data Quality & Governance:
- Establish comprehensive data quality frameworks including validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes
- Implement data security controls, access policies, and compliance measures for sensitive information
- Drive data governance initiatives and documentation standards
- Monitor data systems and pipelines for performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Understanding of data governance principles and the ability to implement relevant policies.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance across data initiatives
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for data-related projects and decisions
Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):
Technical Expertise:
- 10-15 years of experience in data engineering/architecture roles
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data stack technologies
- Deep expertise with Snowflake, AWS cloud services, and big data architectures
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP and Salesforce CRM systems
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions for growing organizations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and design effective solutions.
- Experience working in fast-paced, resource-conscious environments where wearing multiple hats is essential
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML data pipeline requirements and model deployment workflows
- Background in semiconductor, HiTech or similar regulatory/compliance environments
- Experience with data visualization tools and self-service analytics platforms

The actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
