Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· The work consists of the wrapping (inland and export), packing/unpacking, lifting and carrying of personal effects, art, and the other contents of households and commercial or institutional premises and the loading and unloading of shipping or storage containers and commercial vehicles
· You will be expected to have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
· You will have knowledge of, and adhere to, the Working Time Directive
· To ensure compliance with all HR Policies and procedures, and all other policies and procedures in place
· To adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

· The company aims to provide the highest standards of customer service. You are required to support this aim by ensuring that you are polite, courteous and considerate at all times at or near the company’s locations and when working or wearing company uniform
· Present yourself for work in a tidy, presentable condition, well rested and prepared for a days work; your uniform should be clean and pressed

· To work with the Fleet Manager to understand the system used to record walkarounds, defects and online training.
Learning & Development
· The company is committed to developing the skills of all its employees through training. One of the most important elements of your role is to participate actively in the training programmes
· You will have attended an Induction course covering Manual Handling, Health & Safety and the Foundation Skills course to ensure that you fully understand the unique requirements of the company
· You should also be prepared to attend a one-day basic First Aid awareness course
· Performance assessments will be carried out and further training will be specified as necessary
· Promotion to more senior or specialised roles depends upon you undertaking further training courses and being assessed as having reached the required standards
