What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and manage engineering personnel deployments across global operating bases and Line Stations.
- Design and implement compliant rostering patterns that balance workload, manage fatigue, and meet regulatory standards.
- Liaise with internal teams and MOD stakeholders to ensure timely allocation, transport, and readiness of engineering staff.
- Maintain accurate deployment records, travel details, and harmony reports.
- Manage Sponsored Reserve Engineer call-ups and demobilisations, ensuring HR systems are updated.
- Share on-call responsibilities and support crewing operations during weekends and absences.
- Deputise for the Fleet Engineering Crewing Manager, overseeing scheduling, task changes, and flight allocations.
- Ensure all activities align with safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in commercial aircraft maintenance or equivalent military background (minimum OR6 rank).
- Proven leadership in supervisory or managerial roles.
- Strong background in military deployments and CAA Part 145/MRP 145 environments.
- Ideally holds or has held a CAA Part 66 License (B1 or B2) with A330 Type rating.
- Full UK driving license.
- Demonstrated expertise in rostering, scheduling, and planning tools (Office 365, Excel).
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
