We operate at the intersection of military precision and commercial innovation. As a Fleet Engineering Detachment Co-ordinator, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring our engineering teams are deployed effectively to support global flight operations. You’ll lead the coordination of personnel and resources, ensuring deployments are planned, compliant, and executed within contracted timeframes—so our aircraft and teams are ready to deliver when it matters most.

What's in it for you?

  • Innovation & Process Ownership: You’ll be empowered to design and implement deployment patterns and scheduling systems, with opportunities to improve planning tools and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Including private medical insurance, bonus scheme, EV scheme, contributory pension, and more.
  • Adventure & Belonging: Battlefield tours, adventure training, and family fun days.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and manage engineering personnel deployments across global operating bases and Line Stations.
  • Design and implement compliant rostering patterns that balance workload, manage fatigue, and meet regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with internal teams and MOD stakeholders to ensure timely allocation, transport, and readiness of engineering staff.
  • Maintain accurate deployment records, travel details, and harmony reports.
  • Manage Sponsored Reserve Engineer call-ups and demobilisations, ensuring HR systems are updated.
  • Share on-call responsibilities and support crewing operations during weekends and absences.
  • Deputise for the Fleet Engineering Crewing Manager, overseeing scheduling, task changes, and flight allocations.
  • Ensure all activities align with safety, quality, and environmental management systems.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience in commercial aircraft maintenance or equivalent military background (minimum OR6 rank).
  • Proven leadership in supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Strong background in military deployments and CAA Part 145/MRP 145 environments.
  • Ideally holds or has held a CAA Part 66 License (B1 or B2) with A330 Type rating.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rostering, scheduling, and planning tools (Office 365, Excel).
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior military and civilian stakeholders.
