THE MISSION
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development representative to join our Spanish team and help Scalapay grow by managing the first part of the Sales funnel and detecting strong business opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while playing a key role in expanding our presence in the Iberian market! The role is based in our Barcelona office, where we expect to see you a minimum of three days per week, while the other two can be worked remotely, as per our smartworking policy.
You will:
- Target and qualify prospects and merchant accounts in line with the sales strategy & needs
- Work closely with the Account Executive team in order to align on strategies and action plan
- Generate qualified appointments with C-Levels
- Update all Sales activities in our CRM (today we're using Hubspot)
- Define the relevant outbound tools and channels with the Sales & Marketing team
- Determine the best (and innovative!) approaches to engage prospects
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
- Previous Sales prospection experience
- Strong data-driven approach
- Hunting and "never give up" attitude
- Native or near-native level of Spanish (C1-C2) and full work fluency in English (B2 min) -
- Humility and eagerness to learn new methodologies
- Determination: nothing stops you from generating appointments!
Nice to have
- Some prior knowledge of BNPL, payment or eCommerce ecosystem
- Previous experience using CRM tools (Hubspot, Salesforce etc.), LinkedIn and prospecting solutions.
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced Saas startup or scale-up environment
