Job Description:The Role
We’re seeking a versatile Business & Project Support Specialist to provide hands-on support at our Lincoln location. This role blends document creation, project assistance, light marketing, basic technical support, and website updates. You’ll help keep priorities moving, step in where needed, and contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment. Training will be provided for systems, tools, and processes as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and organize documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud (.ai, .eps, PDF files).
- Support projects by gathering information, tracking progress, and keeping details organized.
- Provide light tech support and coordinate with our external IT provider for complex issues.
- Help maintain and update the basic phone system.
- Assist with website updates and basic website content management.
- Assist with marketing materials (flyers, social media posts, or simple graphics).
- Suggest workflow improvements and pitch in wherever support is needed.
- Serve as a liaison with vendors, client IT providers, or external partners—supporting communication, follow-up, or RFP details with guidance from the team.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist with basic CRM tasks, such as updating records, tracking information, or running simple reports.
- Assist with maintaining the office environment.
- Help support the team as needed.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Comfortable troubleshooting minor tech issues and coordinating with external IT support.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling confidential information.
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset; eager to learn and open to feedback.
- Some guidance and training will be provided on the systems, tools, and processes used in this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for document design and graphics (.ai, .eps, PDF files).
- Basic understanding of IT systems and terminology to communicate effectively with our IT vendor and training resources.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft tools and platforms such as Entra ID, Azure, or licensing management.
- Basic experience generating reports or using simple scripting tools (e.g., Python).
- Experience using social media platforms for marketing purposes.
