ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operates a computer-based telephone system routing internal and external calls to appropriate departments.
- Handles and tracks all guest related issues and their needs using Agilisys software.
- Utilizes the property management system to provide personalized service to the hotel guests and uses it in support of Front Desk staff including room charges, guest privacy, etc.
- Obtains reports on cash paying guests from Agilisys and posts charges to guest accounts.
- Enters and confirms guest wakeup call requests into the IP Agent telephone system.
- Places out of state and international calls.
- Takes restaurant reservations.
- Coordinates specific information to both internal and external inquirers, as required.
- Performs various clerical duties as required.
- Takes messages when employees cannot be reached.
- Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Wears and maintains uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license.
- Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to interact with people over the telephone, including in stressful situations.
- Ability to promote positive relations with all callers.
- Knowledgeable of telephone systems and dialing procedures, including long distance, international, and internal.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills and good PC skills.
- Ability to verify data input and correct errors. Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures for the imparting of directory information over the telephone.
- Clerical and basic office skills.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred recent and related customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or gaming environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with PBX telephone consoles and related equipment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties require the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while using a computer, talking on the phone, and completing paperwork. Essential duties may require routine walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and crouching with standard breaks. Essential duties require working a flexible workweek, including weekends and holidays, with overtime hours occasionally required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$18.00+ per hour based on experience

This position follows a remote-hybrid model after the completion of initial onboarding and training.
