Job Overview: Manages all aspects of the Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Operation to ensure exceptional guest service.

- Provides guidance, leadership and direction to staff to ensure that appropriate decisions are made and daily work flow is performed in an organized manner. Identifies daily operational workload for the team.
- Leads, mentors, coaches, provides guidance support and motivation to their direct reports.
- Responsible for hiring, employee engagement and performance management of department employees.
- Performs daily inspection of all laundry and dry-cleaning areas to ensure that quality standards are being met and needed repairs and maintenance are being performed.
- Consistently reviews and updates departmental policies and procedures in partnership with HR. Prepares standard reports and any requested reports.
- Responsible for building strategy and providing direction to supervisory staff in meeting operational goals.
- Consistently seeks out operational efficiencies/industry trends including automation in partnership with Lead Boiler Operator.
- Participates in annual budget planning, including capital request list.
- Conducts inventory and oversees supply ordering.
- Occasional tasks: Consults with Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Supervisors regarding scheduling issues. Consults with Housekeeping, Wardrobe, Food and Beverage, and Tribal Operations enterprises and departments to ensure excellent internal guest service and a smooth flow of the operation. Driving is not an essential function of this job. In the event driving is required, employee must adhere to the driving standards determined by Tribal Operations.
Job Requirements:
- Combination of post-secondary education and industrial dry cleaning and/or laundry, production, processing, or manufacturing experience equal to 5 years.
- 2+ years of indirect or 1 year of direct people leadership experience
- Proven success in budgeting, customer service, P&L responsibility, OSHA safety standards, working with vendors, creating and implementing business strategy.
- Demonstrated organization skills and ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
- Ability to speak Spanish (preferred)
- Work Condition: Exposed to fumes, odors and noises 10% of time.
- Work Condition: Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including being on feet or standing 75% of time.
- Work Condition: Capacity to handle and lift up to 50 lbs. 15% of time.
- Work Condition: Ability to move in a variety of motions including bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and/ or pushing up to 350 lbs. 75% of the time.
