Job Title: Risk Portfolio Analyst - NCT

Location: Mumbai, India

• This position is part of the group providing data and MIS support services to the Credit Risk Management for the South Asia and South East Asia team.
• The role will be aligned to CRM function’s responsibility for monitoring, analysing and reporting risk on a comprehensive basis.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible to take various tasks including MNC Endorsement, Weekly trackers, EWS Monitoring, Reconciliation of Advances at Branch level, preparation of Exposure file, CLA monitoring, Stress testing, preparation of detailed management report, etc.
• The person will also be involved in supporting the IPB risk team for various tasks like invoice processing and reconciliation of advances at branch level
• Support in various regulatory tasks like reporting, Customer Information Exchange (CIE), NPA monitoring, LEF breaches, collection of data for various Audits
• To coordinate with different stakeholders in the Bank; Source and confirm accuracy of various data points, which are used for risk and portfolio monitoring
• Ensuring that all required data is stored in the agreed format and location of the local data storage facility or similar systems
• Delivering required data by within agreed timelines to ensure timely regulatory reporting
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by filtering data
• Adhoc designing and generation of MIS for Senior management at various levels
• Adhoc presentations for relevant stakeholders across the Bank
• Maintain good working relationship with all stakeholders

Your skills and experience

Experience

• Minimum 3-4 year experience in a similar data oriented / MIS related role providing hands on experience on Excel tools.

Technical Skills

• Good MS Office skills, esp. in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ MS Access.
• Should be adept in data search on Internet / Search Engines (such as Google / Yahoo).
• Basic knowledge of financial statements. Will be helpful if the candidate has experience in Bloomberg, Factiva, Bankscope and/or other such financial data sources
• Knowledge of VBA programming would be an added advantage

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills to understand specific data requirements, basic knowledge of financial markets
• Demonstrate ability to search, collate and present data required by risk team members within stipulated time
• Good general knowledge and keen interest in financial sector developments across the globe
• While being a good Team player, must be a self-starter, pro-active in bringing new ideas and solutions to the table
• Must be a self-starter, be pro-active in bringing new ideas and solutions in data collation and maintenance of existing data sources (e.g. automation of data retrieval, building of templates in Excel)

Education/ Qualifications

• Minimum Required: Any Graduate (Preferably Bachelors in Commerce / Economics background)
