Job summary:
Strategic account manager manages sales and relationships with high-value or strategically important clients. In addition to handling order transactions, this person must nurture strategic relationships, recommend solutions, and proactively support customers to maximize growth and satisfaction.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Primary Customer Contact: Acts as the main point of contact for key accounts, handling inquiries, issue resolution (via calls and emails), and service requests
- Customer Service & Sales Support: Delivers elevated customer service that supports overall sales efforts and customer retention.
- Order Management: Oversees the end-to-end order process.
- Internal Collaboration: Works closely with Territory managers and branch managers to align strategy, support account planning, and prepare Quarterly Business Reviews
- Operational Support: Assists customer operations and ultimately improving the customer’s business outcomes
Required skills:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency.
Education and experience:
- 2 years minimum experience in sales or customer service.
- Basic roofing product knowledge
