Description
The Engineering Process Developer designs and develops engineering projects and plant production systems, coordinates efforts of engineering team and provides technical direction to technicians.
$75,000-$85,000 annual salary depending on experience
Essential Responsibilities
- Performs parametric modeling & drafting to generate plant/equipment layouts and related process layouts. Provides engineering deliverables, including but not limited to: drawings, submittals, equipment installation instructions, tooling instructions, process flow documentation and other technical data.
- Works in the Product Data Management software (PDM) to store/archive/status engineering documentation and data. Maintains organization of multiple projects and revisions simultaneously.
- Supports installation, integration and optimizing the function of new or upgraded equipment in our plants. Creates templates, automation, optimization algorithms, drawings, KPIs, work instructions and related training material to facilitate machine implementation or upgrade. Performs project management activity during new equipment installations or upgrades. Regularly communicates project status with Jensen Infrastructure branch and corporate representatives. Follows up at required intervals to ensure machine function is stable post-implementation.
- Identifies and implements projects to reduce physical effort and improve quality in our plants. Observes and documents current baseline process. Gathers and analyzes data to quantify potential improvements. Creates templates, automation, optimization algorithms, drawings, KPIs, work instructions and related training material to improve the process. Performs post implementation data analysis and audits to quantify and control improvements.
Qualifications
Licenses and Professional Certifications:
Autodesk Certified Professional - Preferred
Six Sigma Black Belt - Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial of related Engineering field - required.
Education in programming required - Experience with VB.Net or C#.Net - preferred.
Experience with 3D CAD tools required – Autodesk Inventor - preferred.
Experience with PDM tools preferred – Autodesk Vault - preferred.
Basic understanding of data analysis and optimization.
