We are seeking a highly organized, results-driven Partnership Manager to lead the strategic execution and coordination of the bank’s contractual sponsorship assets, including a relationship tied to a professional sports team. This role is responsible for translating partnership agreements into actionable initiatives that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and business development opportunities. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing high-profile sponsorships, is a skilled cross-functional collaborator, and understands the importance of aligning activations with measurable business outcomes.

  • Partnership Asset Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the bank and its partners to ensure activation of sponsorship assets including, but not limited to: media, signage, hospitality, digital, and in-venue branding.
  • Activation Planning & Execution: Develop and manage activation timelines, creative briefs, event logistics, and internal approvals to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship deliverables.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, retail, lending, community relations, compliance, the executive team, as well as other internal departments and external agencies/suppliers to ensure alignment.  
  • Business Development Integration: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to integrate partnership activities into lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Budget Management: Track and manage partnership budgets and expenses, including invoicing, forecasting, etc.  
  • Reporting & Optimization: Monitor performance of partnership activations using relevant KPIs. Provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsorship partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • On-site Support: Represent the brand at relevant events, games, and activations to ensure quality control and process improvement.  
  • Partnership Strategy – identify and evaluate partnership opportunities as part of a holistic strategy that supports the bank’s goals.  
  • Vendor Management – oversee various vendors that support partnership activations – including promotional suppliers, advertising agency, etc. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship activation, or sports marketing.
  • Proven success managing contractual marketing assets and sponsorship activations.
  • Experience working with or for a professional sports organization is highly preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of brand marketing, consumer engagement, and experiential marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for on-site event support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in financial services or regulated industries 
  • Experience with creative production processes and agency/vendor management.
  • Passion for sports and fan culture.
