This role is for a product leader who thrives on relentless problem-solving and consistently goes the extra mile to deliver exceptional client experiences.
The ideal candidate brings at least 5–7 years of experience in product management, a strong background in SaaS or fintech, and a proven track record of building products in high-growth startup environments. You will have the opportunity to own core product initiatives, partner closely with clients and stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform.
If you are a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and is motivated by solving hard problems for clients, we would love for you to join our mission-driven team.
Responsibilities:
Client-Centric Approach: Deeply understand our target audience, their pain points, and their needs. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly product experiences. Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product hypotheses and inform iterative improvements for both internal and external clients.
Product Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to understand and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning them with Allocate's mission. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify product opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch for small to large-scale projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Investments, Relationship Management, Client Success, Design, and Engineering, to gather requirements, create detailed product specifications, and drive the execution of product development efforts.
Agile Project Management: Perform product owner responsibilities within the Agile development process, including planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. Continuously prioritize and reprioritize tasks based on changing business needs, technical complexity, and evolving market dynamics. Keep the team focused and aligned on delivering high-quality products within set timelines.
Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, design teams, and engineering teams. Effectively communicate product requirements, features, and updates to all relevant stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages open feedback, ideas, and innovation.
Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical acumen to engage in meaningful discussions with the engineering team, understand implementation challenges, and ensure the successful execution of product features.
Performance Measurement: Define key product metrics and track their performance against established goals. Utilize data analytics and user feedback to drive data-informed decision-making, optimize product features, and continuously improve the product's performance.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of product specifications, project plans, and progress updates. Prepare regular reports and presentations to share insights, results, and recommendations with key stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements:
At least 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in private alternative investments, SaaS, fintech, and/or Payments.
