Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Sales Manager with a focus on colleges, universities, and camps. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships within the education and recreation sectors, identifying new opportunities, and driving growth in these markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for colleges, universities, and camps.
- Build and maintain relationships with administrators, athletic directors, event planners, and camp directors.
- Conduct outreach and attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events related to higher education and youth recreation.
- Collaborate with operations to create tailored packages that meet seasonal demand (e.g., school terms, athletic seasons, summer camps).
- Manage and optimize the CRM platform to track prospects, client interactions, and performance metrics.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring solutions align with client needs and company goals.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts specific to the education and camp markets.
- Work with marketing on outreach campaigns designed for student groups, recreational programs, and campus events.
- Draft and contribute to RFP responses when applicable.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Direct experience or strong network in higher education, youth recreation, or camp industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build lasting client relationships and exceed sales goals.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker who can adapt to seasonal cycles of schools and camps.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
