The Opportunity


As a Senior Living Sales Counselor, you’ll play a key role in welcoming new residents into our community. From the very first phone call to move-in day, you’ll be a trusted guide, building relationships, uncovering individual needs, and showing how life at Santa Marta can bring peace of mind and joy. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you’ll:

  • Engage prospective residents and families through calls, tours, events, and personal visits.
  • Use discovery-based, consultative sales techniques to tailor solutions to each person.
  • Inspire confidence through presentations that highlight the lifestyle and benefits of our community.
  • Build long-term connections through thoughtful follow-up and relationship management.
  • Celebrate successes as you achieve goals for deposits, reservations, and move-ins that contribute to the growth and vibrancy of      our community.

What You’ll Do

  • Connect & Build Relationships: Greet every prospect and family warmly, listen closely to their needs, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout their decision-making process.
  • Lead the Sales Process: From initial inquiry to move-in, guide prospects with professionalism—through discovery interviews, tours, presentations, and personalized follow-ups.
  • Achieve Results: Meet and exceed sales goals by turning leads into deposits and move-ins, ensuring our community thrives.
  • Stay Organized: Track all activities and information in our CRM system, ensuring every lead receives timely and consistent attention.
  • Be a Community Ambassador: Represent Santa Marta at events and presentations, always promoting the warmth and hospitality of our community.
  • Continue Growing: Sharpen your skills through ongoing training, stay informed about local market trends, and bring fresh ideas to the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven background in sales, ideally with at least one year in senior living or a related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related area — or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial options clearly and confidently.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple prospects at once.
  • Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
  • A positive, professional, and service-oriented mindset— with the heart to make a difference in people’s lives.

Requirements

Education Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, English, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

· Demonstrated success in sales, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.

· Experience in senior living sales/marketing preferred (minimum one year).
