Stabbert is currently looking for an Accounting – AP Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Post general journal transactions
- Review general ledger accounts for proper recording of transactions and correct as needed
- Assist in preparing preliminary drafts of financial statements
- Manage the AP clerk and perform manager-level AP functions, including preparing check runs for multiple entities, completing credit applications, and verifying vendor wire/banking information.
- Support other accounting and purchasing roles as needed
- Develop new or improve upon existing processes or technology to create greater efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with previous 3 years of general ledger experience
- Experience in a multi-entity accounting environment, preferably with pass-through entities
- Technologically savvy with excellent Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Quickbooks Enterprise software

This position offers 3 weeks of paid vacation and 56 hours of sick leave, as well as medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) match. It is a full-time position with flexibility on work hours and the ability to work remotely part of the week. However, it is not a remote position, and the candidate needs to be able to commute to Ballard, Washington, at least one day a week.
