Qualifications & Experience:π About the Role
The Guest Experience Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the attraction, overseeing front-line operations and ensuring that every guest enjoys a safe, fun, and magical experience. This role is deeply involved in the day-to-day running of the Guest Experience team, with hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder leadership.
Youβll also serve as a Duty Manager, overseeing the full attraction and working collaboratively across departments to keep everything running smoothly! ποΈ
π What You'll Do
π§‘ Deliver exceptional guest service, aligned with Merlinβs Guest Obsession standards.
π€ Lead daily briefings, motivate your team, and foster open communication.
π§ββοΈ Be floor-based β lead by example and stay involved in the action!
π― Support team development through coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
π Partner with leadership to create incentives and rewards that keep the team energized.
π§ Ensure safety procedures and operational standards are followed to the letter.
π Manage team schedules, training, and onboarding for new hires.
π Monitor and evaluate the guest experience across all touchpoints β suggest improvements!
π οΈ Troubleshoot issues on the floor, resolve guest concerns, and champion service recovery.
π‘ Inspire creativity and welcome innovative ideas from your team!
π Support KPIs and secondary spend goals with smart, guest-focused strategies.
π₯ Team Leadership
π€ Set clear expectations, provide timely feedback, and recognize wins.
π Lead the training strategy for new and current team members.
π Help develop career pathways and performance plans.
π’ Communicate clearly and consistently across all levels.
π Operational & Administrative Duties
π§Ύ Monitor inventory levels, track product scores, and report guest dwell time.
π Assist in analyzing performance metrics to drive business improvements.
ποΈ Coordinate with other departments to ensure optimal coverage and smooth operations.
π― Assist with appraisals, reviews, and setting team objectives.
π What You Bring to the Build Table
π High school diploma or GED required.
π₯ At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a guest-facing environment (retail, hospitality, attractions, etc.).
π£οΈ Excellent communication and people management skills.
πͺ Ability to lead under pressure while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
ποΈ Proven sales skills with a passion for enhancing guest experiences.
π» Experience using POS/till systems and basic computer tools.
β‘ Great multitasking skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.

β Must report and support investigations into incidents, and implement corrective actions as needed.
π§― Maintain compliance with licensing, risk assessments, and training records.
β° Working Conditions
Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Attendance is mandatory β your presence on the floor makes the magic happen!
Physical demands include: standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 70 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs/ladders, and using PPE as required.
You may be exposed to varying temperatures, noise levels, and lighting conditions throughout the attraction.
