Job Description Summary:
Please note: This is not a Remote role and will require the individual to be based in Gurugram, India and follow a hybrid work schedule. This is an Individual Contributor role.
A successful Finance operations consultant processes claims from franchise bottlers and company-owned bottlers, drives the month closing process for accruals and cut-off procedures, and troubleshoots budget owners in the transaction process to offer a smooth transaction experience for budget owners. Prepare and analyze reports on cooler spends, discount spends, and marketing spends using data from multiple sources like SAP, vendor tracking. Influencing the key stakeholders, through sustained and effective engagement, drives compliance with the process in ongoing Operations. Work with the FBO Lead, and it is an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
Clain Processing:
Work with the operations team and bottling team to manage all activities related to claims. This role will impact the system, spending USD 40 Million.
This role will own the end-to-end claim cycle of the bottlers and deliver the following:
Ensure compliance with the standard process for bottlers' claims by nature of spending, along with mandatory documentation by type of claims.
Review and make necessary changes to the standard process as necessary to ensure standardization across without compromising control requirements
Drive discipline across the system for the timely submission of claims
Ensure compliance with the global SPP in accounting for spending and payments
Provide insights from claim processing to drive the efficiency of spending.
Ensure documents are preserved for easy retrieval in future years
MIS Reporting:
Supports the franchise finance in preparing the following reports:
Generate MIS for cooler commitments, spends by bottler and budget source-wise.
Generate MIS on discount and marketing spends by bottler and the type of investment
Provide historical data for tax assessments and queries from the department, CAD and other audits
Provide in generating other MIS on a need basis
Closing process and hygiene:
Drive monthly closing process discipline across the franchise team to ensure timely purchase orders are created in the system.
Collaborate with the platform services team and Genpact to drive account payable process hygiene and controls.
Offer a subject matter expert role and provide support to the franchise team in troubleshooting transactional issues for budget owners.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
A postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting, or CA Inter, is an advantage but not essential.
A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in finance, particularly in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Customer Claims, Claims Processing, Claim Management or related roles.
Experience in the FMCG sector is preferred; however, candidates from other industries with transferable skills and strong finance expertise are encouraged to apply.
Functional Skills & Expertise

Practical, hands-on experience using SAP and other finance tools.
Working knowledge of TDS and other tax compliance requirements.
Experience ensuring SOX compliance and driving adherence to internal controls.
