Probation Officer Supervisor - Diet Program

Position Summary 
The DIET Supervisor will be asked to perform various duties and responsibilities. The duties will include hiring staff, managing the budget, and making certain the Program is adhering to the specific grant guidelines.

Position Duties


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise staff to be certain they are maintaining the integrity of the Program.
  • Design and implement innovative strategies to maintain the Program's current compliance and continued growth.
  • Oversee the Program’s compliance with grant guidelines.
  • Ensure the Program has sufficient and qualified staff. Will be required to facilitate groups.
  • Ensure all files and spreadsheets are maintained, and current. 
  • Perform annual reviews of the staff. 
  • Act as a connection between the Program and the referral sources.
  • Participate in clinical, administrative, and manager meetings.
  • Manage complaints and continue to improve the Program.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Chief Probation officer.

  • Knowledge of domestic violence curricula

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or related field required. LSW, LIWS, LPCC, or equivalent required.

Qualified applicants will be required to submit to testing and may be required to provide writing samples. Proof of education and employment references will be required before final interview. Employment predicated upon successful completion of criminal record check and drug testing required. You'll be considered a probationary employee for your first 180 days of employment.
