Position: Recruiting Manager
Pay Rate: $58,000 to $62,000 annual salary DOE
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Schedule: Monday through Friday; Standard Office Hours

What You'll Be Doing
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for both hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
  • Build and uphold Citadel’s standards for an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely, respectful, and brand-aligned communication.
  • Create and implement recruiting processes that reflect Citadel’s culture and core values.
  • Develop structured interview guides and provide manager training to ensure fair and consistent hiring practices.
  • Partner with HR to deliver smooth, well-coordinated transitions from offer acceptance through onboarding.
  • Optimize our applicant tracking system (ATS) to improve hiring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives through social media, job boards, and community outreach to strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Partner with local communities, workforce programs, schools, and veteran organizations to expand candidate pipelines and support local hiring initiatives.
  • Train and mentor hiring managers on interviewing skills, candidate assessment, and inclusive recruiting practices.
  • Standardize recruiting workflows, documentation, and reporting for consistency and compliance.
  • Provide data-driven insights on recruiting performance and workforce trends to leadership.


  • What You'll Need To Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance in our operating states in recruitment.
  • Proven success with passive sourcing strategies and employer branding campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ATS platforms.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and process oriented.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Reliable transportation required.
