Pay Rate: $22.00–$24.00 per hour DOE
About the Role
Citadel Security USA is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Recruiter / Administrative Support Specialist to join our Grand Junction office. This hybrid role combines recruiting responsibilities with general administrative support, making it ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As part of our HR and operations team, you will help drive hiring efforts, support office operations, and ensure that both candidates and employees have a positive and professional experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Recruitment
  • Participate in weekly hiring meetings to review staffing needs and open positions.
  • Draft clear, accurate, and engaging job postings for internal and external platforms.
  • Monitor applicant flow through the ATS and job boards, ensuring timely responses.
  • Conduct phone screens to evaluate candidate qualifications, interest, and fit.
  • Document candidate progress, interview results, and communication in the ATS.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding: schedule orientations, training sessions, and paperwork.
  • Initiate background checks and drug screenings; track status and follow up with vendors.
  • Provide regular recruiting updates to the HR Manager, including candidate pipelines and offer statuses.
  • Suggest creative sourcing strategies or job posting sponsorships when additional applicants are needed.

  • Administrative Support
  • Answer and route incoming calls; take accurate messages and forward promptly.
  • Greet and direct candidates, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Perform general clerical duties: photocopying, scanning, mailing, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for quick and secure document access.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, trainings, and company events.
  • Use Microsoft Teams and other tools to manage tasks, scheduling, and communication.
  • Handle confidential company and personnel information with discretion.


  • What You'll Need To Have
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or HR coursework a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to remain professional in a client-facing role.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).
  • Comfortable with office equipment (multi-line phones, printers, copiers, scanners).
  • Knowledge of basic office procedures, filing systems, and scheduling practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
  • Problem-solving and information-gathering skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and provide I-9 documentation.
